Evelyn J. (Elleman) Cuneo

Evelyn J. (Elleman) Cuneo, 90, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on March 2, 1930, in Richmond, IN, to Eddie and Bertha (Hillard) Elleman. 

Evelyn was a 1948 graduate of Richmond High School.  She was a waitress in Ridgeville and Deerfield.  She was a member of the Ridgeville American Legion.  She enjoyed visiting friends and family, working with her flowers, and cooking for her family.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Dale (Tammie) Hymer of Winchester; two daughters, Karen (Dave) Stoner of Portland and Linda Sheets of Union City, IN; grandchildren, Keri Jackson, Dawn Correll, Anthony Gray, Devin Stoner, Lance Harrison, Ryan Harrison, and Josef Harrison; and several great and great great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Smith A. Cuneo; and three brothers, Robert Elleman, Howard Elleman, and Harold Elleman.

A private family service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating.  Burial will follow at Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville.

Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Friday at the funeral home.
