Erica Olivia (Lutes) Smith

Erica Olivia (Lutes) Smith, 40, Spartanburg, passed away on May 28, 2023 with her family and friends by her side. She was born to Troy and Stacey (Steele) Lutes, in Connersville, Indiana, on July 17, 1982.  She was a 2000 graduate of Randolph Southern. In 1999, she met her spouse, Brian Smith. They were married on July 28, 2001 and together they had 2 children, Brianna (Bree) Smith and Joselyn Smith.

Erica is also survived by her parents; her sisters, Erin (Allan) Geary and Elena (Stephen) Godsey. Erica’s family also includes several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Grandpa Lutes.

A service to celebrate Erica’s life will be at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Dale Steele officiating.  Burial will follow at Spartanburg Cemetery in Spartanburg.

Friends and family can call from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home.
