(Debrah) Ferguson and they started their life together on July 28, 1979. In the following years, they had three very special children, Darah C. (Dieter) Luedike of Winchester IN, Drew L. (Jessi Hunt) Anderson of Winchester IN, and Devin F. (Jess) Anderson of Hendersonville TN. Later he was blessed with three grandchildren, Denae C. (Sebastian Stewart) Anderson of Muncie IN, Derek L. Anderson of Muncie IN, and Damon R. Anderson of Winchester IN.

He was employed by Rickert Implement, Girton Auto Parts, Brown’s Warehouse, Farm Bureau Co-Op, Agri Care, Cook & Shannon’s, and Ohio Valley Gas. He performed with many local bands - The Jammin Bros Band, Sounds Unlimited, and Vital Force.

Doug toured the country for several years back in the 1990’s with a national performing band “The Fortunes”.  Doug loved singing and preforming, but he missed his family dearly during that time.  He decided to come back home in 1999 to be with his family where he was the happiest.  He sang Christian music at his church, Saratoga United Methodist, for many years after he returned home.

Doug loved the outdoors.  He loved clearing paths and making camping spots in the woods.  He loved collecting all kinds of bug out gear so he could be ready at any time to survive outside.  He loved relaxing around a campfire.

Doug is survived by his parents, Frank & Jackie Anderson, wife, Debbie, children, Darah, Drew, and Devin, and grandchildren, Denae, Derek, and Damon. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna S. (Gerry) Keesling of Richmond IN, Darinda J. (Randy) Wells of Winchester IN, his father-in-law Jack D. (Sandy) Ferguson, and his brother-in-law Jackie D. Ferguson of Colorado Springs, CO.
