Diana Kay (Anderson) Stover, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26, 2023 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester IN. She was born February 21st, 1938 to Charles and Marguerite (Bergdoll) Anderson. She married the love of her life John (Phil) Stover on August 30th, 1957.
She leaves behind her children, Renee (Stover) Hines, Brad (Malissa) Stover, Shane (Kelly) Stover, and Shelly (Jeff) Woodward.
She also leaves behind her Grandchildren Zach (Stacy) Hines, Brooke (Shawn) Patterson, Ashley (Jeremiah) Buffenbarger, Alicia (Mike) Williams, Whitney (Mylon) Cox, Andy (Stephanie) Stover, Savanah (fiancé Nicholas) Woodward, and Chandler (Kaitlyn) Woodward. Great Grandchildren Angela Buffenbarger, Morgan Williams, Gatlin Patterson, Gracie Patterson, Maegan Williams, Stella Harris, Brantley Cox, Ian Stover, Claire Stover, Alexis Williams, Miranda Williams, and another Baby Stover on the way.
She also leaves behind brothers Bill Anderson, Frank (Jackie) Anderson, Dana (Buck)(Margaret) Anderson, Sister- In- law Judy Oakerson and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband John (Phil) Stover, Son- in-law Ron Hines, brothers DuWayne Anderson, Rex (Shorty) Anderson, Sister- in- laws Margorie Anderson, and Kathryn Anderson
Diana had a passion for children and showed that through babysitting for many years. Over those many years she built a great relationship with those families in which she thought of them as her own. Diana also loved traveling with The JayLand Car Club, being a member of the Red Hats and going to all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events. Diana also enjoyed being outside all summer long with flowers and growing her tomatoes.
She will be truly missed by all her family and friends.
A service to celebrate Diana’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 4-7 p.m., on Tuesday, January 31 as well as an hour before services on Wednesday, all at the funeral home.
