Diana Manson Obituary

Diana Jean Manson, 71, of Winchester

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Manson, who took her last breath at 1 a.m. on March 28th. She peacefully joined her beloved husband, Richard Manson, in the light on their 26th wedding anniversary. Diana was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, love, and unwavering support.

Born on September 27, 1953, Diana graduated from Indiana University East, earning a degree in business. She dedicated herself to her family and her work, managing the retirement communities Sunny Knoll, Sunny Ridge, and The Crossings for decades. In her earlier years, she enjoyed the camaraderie of her bowling league. Diana was a lifetime member of the Moose and the Legion. She loved gardening and watching the hummingbirds return every summer.

She is survived by her children, Larry Cadwallader, Jason Cadwallader, and Kristie Banks (S. James); her stepchildren, Nichole Manson and Michelle Hagele; her grandchildren, Gracie Goodpaster, Tyler Spade (S. Ashley), Alexandria Cadwallader (S. Derrick), and Brendon Poling (S. Kirsten); nine beloved greatgrandchildren; and two siblings, Evelyn Philebaum and Danny Long.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Long; father, William Long; and brothers, Bill Long and Bob Bowers

Family may gather to share, remember, and celebrate Diana’s life from 4pm until 6pm Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home.
