Devin Michael Loudy, 20, was born May 13, 2003 to Chrissy (Hoffman) Berry and the late Will Loudy, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a 2021 graduate of Winchester Community High School.
Devin was such an amazing young man whom bravely battled Glioblastoma Brain Cancer for 7 years and he didn’t let it slow him down one bit. He had such a positive attitude the entire time and that Devin Smile that everyone loved. If you were close to Devin then you knew if you received a picture of him from his mom you were going to get the “bird” as he was so over his mom taking pictures he was always flipping her off, but that was Devin and he never changed. As people would ask how he was doing, my response was “He’s still Devin”. So people always knew he was still smiling through the pain, fighting every step of the way and always doing something to make everyone laugh. He was a jokester and always wanted to make people laugh. Devin was known for enjoying his Baja Blast and a handful of candy bars or Airheads and offering you a “hit”.
Devin is survived by his mom, Chrissy (Hoffman) Berry; brother Logan Melton; sister, Makenzi Berry, step father, Jeff Berry; grandparents, Fred (Linda) Hoffman, Debbie (Charlie) Bennett, John and Laura (Granny) Loudy; girlfriend, Miah Patterson; uncles, Jim (Natalie) Hoffman, Josh Clouse, and Johnny (Betty Jo) Loudy; niece Zaylee Melton; along with several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Devin was preceded in death by his very close dad, Will Loudy in 2017; special aunt Candi (Hoffman) Clouse in 2021, and special Uncle Gary Hoffman in 2023.
