David "Dave" Lee Moore

David “Dave” Lee Moore, of Winchester, IN went to his Lord and Savior on May 11th after a short battle with cancer. Dave was born to Jesse and India Moore on August 21, 1951 in Winchester.

Dave leaves to cherish his wife; Marjorie (Gifford) Moore, his children; Christina (Nick) Schaub of Indianapolis, Jesse (Kristin) Moore of St. Johns FL and his brother; Stephen Moore of Union City, IN. His laugh and playfulness will be deeply missed by all of his grandchildren, David “Lee,” Chelsea, Reece Moore and Liam, Crispin, Winston, Anna and Ava Schaub.

Dave worked for Mangas Construction for almost 54 years and was a wonderful craftsman. Dave was most known for his gentle nature, his good humor and his devotion to his family.

A service to celebrate Dave’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the East Street Congregational Christian Church, in Winchester, with Pastor Rob Butler officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Thursday at the church.
