Obituary
David Michael Campbell, 75, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on June 10, 1947, in Lafayette, Indiana to Betty and Everett Campbell.
Mike was a 1966 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also graduated from Ball State University. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Viet Nam in 1967-1968 and also served in Desert Storm. Mike was an avid coin collector from a 10 year old boy and was a steady metal detector hunter. He was in several metal detector clubs. This was his love and passion. Mike and his brother Randall owned 2 farms in Indiana and 2 houses in Florida.
Mike was survived by his brother Randall Douglas Campbell.
A service to celebrate Mike’s life was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester and was attended by a few close friends and family.
Mike loved his hunt clubs and all of his friends and associates with them known by “I Bid $1.00”.
