Danny Cassidy

Danny Junior Cassidy, 86, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at his home in rural Winchester.

Danny was born on August 12, 1939, in Marion, Ohio to the late Cecil and Irene Cassidy. Danny worked at Marhoefer Meat Packing, Brodrick’s Metal Stamping, and had also worked in autobody repair. He enjoyed camping and tinkering with things. He was able to repair anything he set his hands on.

Danny is survived by a son, Danny E. Cassidy; three grandchildren, Jason O’Dell (wife Heather), Jasmine Thomas, and Justin Cassidy (wife Amanda); and six great-grandchildren.

Danny was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Charlotte Cassidy; and his daughter, Kimberly Deitemyer.

A funeral service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home.
