Constance "Connie" Lucille (Shope) Turner Willis

Constance “Connie” Lucille Turner Willis, 66 of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born on December 13, 1957, in Detroit Michigan to Thurman and Margaret Shope.  On March 2, 2024, she married Leonard Willis.

Connie had worked for Renaissance Property Management.   She lived in Detroit until she was a teenager, where her family moved to the Kentucky area, then moving to the Richmond area.  Connie was a member of the Life Springs Church in Fountain City.  She was also a member of the Silver Sneakers in Richmond.  She enjoyed attending farmers markets, fishing, motorcycle rides, and eating out with Leonard.

Connie is survived by her husband Leonard; niece Kimberly Shope of Detroit Michigan; cousins, Debbie Shope and Ronnie Shope; and numerous grandchildren. 

Connie is preceded by her parents; a sister, Rosemary Sexton; and a brother Thurman Shope, Jr.

A graveside service for Connie will be at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the New Liberty Cemetery in Lynn, with Pastor Nancy Pike officiating.
