Charlotte Louise (Carden) Ward

Charlotte L. Ward, 72, of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on August 11, 1949, in Winchester, Indiana to Elbert and Dorothy (Tucker) Carden.

Charlotte was a graduate of Pennville High School and was a homemaker.  She attended the Church of Christ in Winchester.  Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family.

Charlotte is survived by her three daughters, Beverly (Ron) Whitesel, of Farmland, Carolyn (Mike) Weagant of Fort Recovery, Ohio, and Chris Braun of Piqua, OH; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Mike (Carol) Carden and Jeff (Mary Jo) Carden; and a sister, Vickie (Harold) Brown.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Chad Ward; a granddaughter, Chasity Weagant; and two brothers, Doug Carden and Elbert Carden, Jr.

A celebration of life for Charlotte will be from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.
