Bruce A Phillips

Bruce A. Phillips, 72, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond.  He was born on July 20, 1951, in Clarksville, Tennessee to Claude and Helen (Ramsey) Phillips.

Bruce was in the United States Air Force.  He attended college at Ohio State and then finished his Bachelor’s Degree in California.  Bruce owned and operated BP Dental Lab in Richmond. He was a member of A New Thing Ministry in Fountain City, Indiana.  He was also an avid skydiver and enjoyed sailing.  He loved spending time with his family, taking them on vacation, especially to Florida and Myrtle Beach, and enjoyed to cruise around in his Corvette with his wife.

Bruce leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon Phillips; his two step children whom he considered his own, Josh (Venessa) Stuckey, and Kristi (Clint) Johnting; three grandchildren, Anderson Stuckey, Maxxwell Johnting, and Canyon Johnting; and his brothers and sisters in law, Steve and Gail Knoll and Ed and Lori Knoll.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Claudia Swords; and his in laws, Tom and Joann Knoll.

A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Dean Frame officiating.  Military Rites will follow the service.

Friends and family may call from 3-5 p.m., on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to A New Thing Ministry, 1327 Airport Rd, Centerville, IN 47330.
