Beverly Sue Williamson

Beverly Sue Williamson, 91, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. She was born on September 20, 1934, and lived a life centered on her family.

Sue's greatest joy in life was her family, as she dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. There was nothing that brought a bigger smile to her face than the announcement of a new baby on the way. Her happiest moments were when everyone could gather together, sharing stories, laughter, and memories. Sue preferred being close to home, but she fondly reminisced about the family trip to Yellowstone, sharing stories and memories from that special time together.

She enjoyed keeping up with the latest news and loved chatting with friends and family about what was happening in their lives. During the day, you would find her on the phone with either Sheila or Kay, talking about anything and everything. If you stopped by to visit Sue in the evening, chances were you would find her settled in her chair watching The Lawrence Welk Show. Family and friends were always welcome to sit down and visit awhile. One of Sue's favorite pastimes was attending auctions and estate sales with her daughter-in-law, Marsha. Together they searched for treasures, especially bells, which Sue collected. Those outings created many cherished memories and brought her much joy.

Sue retired from Randolph County Bank after more than 35 years of dedicated service. She was a valued employee, trusted coworker, and treasured friend to the many people fortunate enough to know and work alongside her throughout the years.

Sue's love for her family was evident in countless ways, including the phone calls she would make whenever storms rolled through. She wanted to make sure everyone was safely tucked in and doing well. Those calls were a simple but powerful reminder of how deeply she cared for those she loved, and they are among the many things her family will miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Shirley Stuckey; her daughter-in-law, Marsha Williamson; her grandson, Mike Williamson; her infant great-granddaughter, Daphne Shira; and her siblings, Bob (Jackie) Stuckey, Kent (Kay) Stuckey, Mick (Carol) Stuckey, Sheila (Chuck) Dauer, and Pam (Steve) Welch.

She is survived by her children, Rick Williamson and Deb (Kevin) Nance; her grandchildren, Travis (Sandy) Williamson, Troy Williamson, Erin Peters, Lauren (Austin) Shira, and Erica Poole; her great-grandchildren, Haylie (Braxton) Strait, Samantha (Kavan) Williamson, Reese (Eli) Zigler, Josie Williamson, Ava Peters, Annabelle Shira, Everlie Shira, Lorelei Shira, Cecilia Shira, Madelynn Poole, James Poole, and Johnathan Poole; her great-great-grandchildren, Miller Strait, Baker Strait, and Elowyn Zigler, expected soon. She is also survived by her siblings, Kay (Frances) Shaw and Joe (Judy) Stuckey, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Sue's legacy is one of Faith, love, devotion, kindness, and family. Her greatest accomplishment and deepest pride was the family she loved so dearly. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service to celebrate Sue’s life will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday June 24th, 2026, at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, IN. Burial will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery in Spartanburg, IN. The service will be officiated by Melissa Kleinschmidt.
