Bernard Duane Cook

Bernard Duane Cook, 78, of Lynn, IN passed away on August 20, 2022 surrounded by his family. 

Bernard is survived by his wife Della Kay Cook, his sons Jim Cook (wife Doreen) and Chris Hines (husband Riley), his daughters Jenny Winkle, Kathy Cook (husband Matt), Melissa Bates, and Pamela Hernandez (husband Joseph), his grandchildren Christopher, Duane, TJ, Alicia, Shaun, Kayle, Dinah and EN. His sisters Winnie, Phyllis, Joetta, Susan and his 13 great grandchildren. Bernard enjoyed spending his time with his family and fur babies Emma, Lil Bit, and Mindy.   
 

Bernard was preceded in death by his parents Chase and Juanita Cook.
 

He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend that will be greatly missed.

A service to celebrate Bernard’s life will be at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.  Burial will be at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 5-7 p.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bernard’s name can be made to the City of Lynn, PO BOX 65, Lynn, IN 47355, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
