Barbara Elois (Bowen) McCoy

Barbara Elois (Bowen) McCoy, died May 16, 2022, in Winchester IN.  She was born June 7, 1937, in Greenville, OH, to David B. and Florence Virginia (Pendlum) Bowen.

Barbara graduated from Lynn High School, class of 1955.  In July of 1957, she married Eddie Gene McCoy, and he preceded her in death in 2007. 

Barbara is survived by her son, David (Pam) McCoy; four grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; a sister Beverly Vardaman; sisters-in-law Sherry Clouse, Diane McCoy; a brother-in-law, Larry (Pam) McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Larry Bowen; and brothers-in-law, Bud Vardaman, Steve Clouse, and Jim McCoy

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials in Barbara’s name may be made to the Art Association of Randolph County, 115 N. Howard St., Union City, IN 47390.
