Anthony Kritsch Obituary

Anthony (Tony) Kritsch, 75, of Winchester, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026, at his home in rural Winchester with his wife by his side.

Tony was born on September 11, 1950, in Winchester to the late Clarence and Maxine Kritsch. He was a 1968 graduate of Winchester Community High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from Purdue University. Tony married Marsha Sickels on June 14, 1970. Tony was a farmer and one of the founding members of Cardinal Ethanol. Tony had also served his community on the White River Township Fire Department. Tony was a quiet and tender-hearted man who said very little, but earned the respect of many through the few words he spoke and his strong faith.

Tony was a member of the Winchester Friends Church, Young Farmer’s Group, Countryside Card Club and the 4-H sales committee. He enjoyed vacationing, spending time with family, and playing cards with friends.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marsha Kritsch; two children, Trent Kritsch (Christa) and Angela Graff (Corey); four grandchildren, Lyla and Carol-Anne Kritsch and Chase and Kaylee Graff; and a sister-in-law, Ellene Kritsch.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ben Kritsch.

A funeral service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Winchester Friends Church, 124 E. Washington St. in Winchester. Pastor Ron and Pam Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery.
