We are sorry to hear of the death of Vee.  She was a hard worker and very fun loving.  We are appreciative of being invited to several family get togethers as they were always a good time.  One special time was when we bought a pie from Wicks and stopped to see Vee and Harold.  Vee made coffee and we all enjoyed our time together. I was so blessed to get to meet this couple in my years at State Farm. Both were so sweet and had a great sense of humor. I am sure she is going to be really missed.

My condolences to the family. Vee was such a fun loving special lady.  She was a part of a craft club some of our family and friends came up with and we shared some really fun times with her. She was so generous  and never met a stranger. She and Harold were great friends to many of our family members. God Bless you as you mourn your loss.

Praying for your family.  Bee was such a wonderful lady.  Chuck worked with her at Sheller Globe and he very much liked talking with her at Summers Pointe every time he went to visit his mom.  We will miss seeing her there .  God be with you all, and give you peace.

Terry, Julie, and All,

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this difficult time. Having recently lost my own father, I know how difficult this transition is...especially with the limitations in services due to the pandemic. I pray that you will find comfort in the knowledge that Vee is in paradise, where time is irrelevant, until you are reunited.

Just wanted to reach out and let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have known the Garretts since I was a kid and was Blessed to coach and compete with the Falcons vs. Indians for years. Shared many victories with Terry who was in the class that built Falcon Wrestling. I have many fond memories of conversations with Stan during our coaching years. Great respect for your family. Your Momma was a very strong lady who raised you right. Take care and God Bless.

Oh, Vee...   she was one in a million! From the time I was a eight years old, she always welcomed me into her home and life.  At times growing up, I felt like one of her kids... I saw all the emotions.  I saw Vee laugh A LOT, I saw her mad at times (Marcia remembers our shenanigans), I saw her joyful, aggravated, quiet, loud, and always sincere and honest.  I remember her laughing the most.  She would laugh at us and also laugh at us laughing at her.  It was never quiet or boring at Vee's house.

Minnie Veatrice (as I called her) will be missed by many.  Her kindness, personality, and spirit will live forever in the hearts of those whom she touched.  This once shy little girl appreciates the time I was able to spend with her and will always remember.

Terry and Marcia, please know we are thinking of you. Your mom would take Marcia to dance classes in Union City. Think that is where I got to know her.  Always friendly to all of us.  With love, Bonnie Coffman, Marita, Vincent, and Alisha
