|I gratefully express my dearest & heart felt condolences after the peaceful passing of my Mother's sister, "Aunt Betty". It is my pleasure to always remember her taking me on trips to the county fair. I regret the upset that I caused learning how to ride Tony The Pony but will always remember that lesson on the farm. Love & Peace on this blessed day for her, Phil|

|In addition to being the Mom of one of the prettiest girls in my class, Betty was the school secretary. Her desk was right outside the principal’s office. (Hers was your last chance for a friendly face when you were en route be punished.) On one of my frequent visits she gave me a half smile as I walked by and said, “What did you do this time?”
I only saw her once after my graduation. We ran into each other at the hospital where we were visiting a mutual friend. We talked in the parking lot for more than an hour as she caught me up on family and community news.
My lingering memory of that conversation more than 15 years ago was that life had offered her some challenges, but they were balanced by the love and pride she had in her family. May she rest in peace.
