Virginia (Jenny) Delores (Wright) Hargrove, 59, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021.  She was born on September 14, 1962 daughter of Dallas and Mary (Petty) Wright

Jenny attended WCHS and was part of the class of 1981.  She worked in manufacturing for many years before furthering her education to become a licensed nurse.  Jenny’s love and compassion for others is what prompted her to pursue a career in nursing, after her children were grown.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She loved gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Michael Hargrove; a son, Jimmy (Brittany) Boyd of Yorktown; a daughter, Jennifer (Brady) Whitehead of Winchester; 8 grandchildren, Alara, Delaney, Joselyn, and Jensen Boyd, Leah and Alex Kettler, and Zoe and Dravin Whitehead; brothers, Doug Wright of Winchester and Dallas (Rose) Wright; sister, Marianne (Curt Lawrence) Journay of Winchester; nieces, Lauren Toschlog, Brandy Andres, Aubrey Lawrence, Dallas Leigh, Chelsea Murphy, Katlyn Hartman, and Frankie Jo Tucker; nephews, Brandon Journay, Dustin Wright, Scotty Smith, and Zack Bechtol; as well as several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Mary Wright; a sister, Kimberly Smith; nephews, Jeffrey Lee Toschlog and Jeremy Wright; and a niece, Ashley Wright.

A service to celebrate Jenny’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating.  Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester

Friends and family may call 2 hours prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

I’m so sorry to hear about Jenny’s passing. She was a good person. I worked with her at MSSL(Stoneridge). Prayers for the whole family.

Oh my so sad my heart is heavy she was a very dear friend shared some of the best of times with her and Becky when we worked @ D-J restaurant years ago gone but never forgotten RIP sure gonna miss you..

O my, so sorry for your loss. I will always remember growing up with her, Kim, Doug, Marianne and Dallas on Heaston St. My parents were good friends with Gene and Mary and I always considered them family.
May you all find peace and comfort in knowing that Jenny is rejoicing in heaven with her Mom, Dad and Kim.
