Etta Lucille Kepner, 90, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 18, 1930, in Harland County, Kentucky to James and Ollie (Clark) Thompson.
Etta attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church. She retired from Anchor and was a waitress at the Rainbow Restaurant. Etta enjoyed bowling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Etta is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Kepner; two daughters, Diana (Craig) Brutout of Bartonia and Carol Burkett of Muncie; a son, Ric (Jodi) Collins of Ohio; 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
Etta was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Miller; and a granddaughter, Brandi (Burkett) Proffitt.
A service to celebrate Etta’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Community Fellowship Church, 1051 N Jackson Pike, Union City, IN 47390, with Pastor Richard Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the church. There will be a meal following burial at Community Fellowship for Etta’s family and friends.
