John Edgar Kaufman, 66, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born in Winchester, on June 21, 1954, son of the late Glen R. and Margie L. (Blizzard) Kaufman.
John was a 1973 graduate of Winchester Community High School. He was a Union Journeyman Carpenter from Local Union 1016 for 34 years. John and his wife owned and operated GlenAire Mobile Home Park for many years.
John is preceded in death by his father, mother, and two brothers, David and Michael. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sondra (Pash) Kaufman, his daughter, Karinsa (husband Chris) Tucker, and his two grandsons, Cade and Cole, all of Winchester, his brother, Keith (wife Marlene) Kaufman of Niles, MI, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
During his lifetime, John enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, deer hunting, camping with friends and family, and most recently Jeepin’!
A service to celebrate his life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Countryside Christian Church, in Winchester, with Rev. Melissa Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial will follow at Reitenour Cemetery in Ridgeville.
Friends and family may call from 4-7 p.m., on Friday, January 15 as well as an hour before services on Saturday, all at the church.
