William Michael “Mike” Huddleston, 65, New Castle, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Henry Community Health.  He was born on February 3, 1955, in Winchester, Indiana to William and Dorothy (Vanatta) Huddleston.

Mike was a longtime skilled carpenter and journeyman.  He served in the US Army.  Mike was a member of United Pentecostal Church.  He enjoyed old bluegrass music, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.  He was proud of his children, Karen who worked at Richmond State Hospital, Dorothy who worked at Muncie Community Schools, and Morgan that worked at Community Howard.  He was extremely proud of his daughters work in serving others, the community and public to give back and it overjoyed him with pride and made them even more the light of his life.

Mike is survived by his wife, Beth Huddleston; his three daughters, Karen Phenis (Samuel), Dorothy Huddleston, and Morgan Cox (Levi); two grandchildren, Mallory Phenis and Noah Lutes; a brother, Steve Huddleston; two sisters, Mary Shaneyfelt and Iris Jenkins (Morris); several nieces and nephews and extended family; and sisters-in-law, Monie Huddleston and Bertie Huddleston.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dan Huddleston and Gary Huddleston; and a sister, Carol Jones.

          A service to celebrate Mike’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday January 2, 2020, at the United Pentecostal Church, in Winchester, with Pastor Greg Pruett and Joe Huddleston officiating.  Burial will follow at Quaker Lynn Cemetery.

          Friends and family may call from 4-7 p.m., on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the church.  Memorials in Mike’s name can be made to the United Pentecostal Church, 460 E. Elm St., Winchester, IN 47394.

Beth, please know I am thinking of you and your daughters. I didn't know
your husband, but am sure he was proud of his family. I enjoyed having your daughters come to story times at the library. Much love from Bonnie
