Jenny L. Wilt, 40, of Farmland, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at her home.  She was born on February 17, 1978, in Muncie, to Jim Patty and Teresa (Gibbs) Hartsock.

Jenny graduated from Monroe Central High School.  She attended the East Street Congregational Christian Church in Winchester.  Jenny was a homemaker and worked at Orscheln’s in Winchester.  She enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and tending to her flowerbeds and gardening.  Jenny had a terrific sense of humor.  She loved everyone she met and every animal.  Jenny, most of all, loved spending time with her boys.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Jason Wilt of Farmland; two sons, Ashten and Cayden Wilt; her father, Jim Patty of Marion; her mother, Teresa (Don) Hartsock of Farmland; two sisters, Lindsey (Julie) Patty of Michigan City, IN, and Shannon (Tony) Alford of Muncie; her half-sister, Cassie Wills; two step brothers, Shane (Christina) Hartsock and Shawn Hartsock; and her maternal grandparents, Peggy and Allen Gibbs; and uncle, Mark Gibbs.

A service to celebrate Jenny’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the East Street Congregational Christian Church, with Pastor Rob Butler officiating.

Friends and family may call an hour before services on Saturday at the church.

Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerswinchester.com.

I didn't have the chance to know Jenny for very long, but the time I did know her, I quickly realized how loving and genuine she was. She will always be remembered as a fun and loving and caring person, that even in dire times kept smiling and was friendly. Love and respect to those who she left behind. Love you Jenny.

Shannon, please know my heart is breaking with you and your family at this time. Jenny always made me smile when she would come in the store, we would talk about the families and always gossip a little too. I know it's going to be a hard road ahead, we lost Aiden teo days after last Christmas, so I'm here for you if you ever need to just blow some steam,or just some one to sit by. Again, my heart is with the whole family.
