Music by The Piano Brothers

Debra Sue Boomhower from Oyster Creek, TX and most recently of Winchester, IN.  I went to be with my God and Savior on May 6, 2018

I was born on May 19, 1950 to Clarence and Doris (Clark) Franklin in Portland, IN.

I was an Air Force brat.  We traveled all the time.  I started grade school in Munich, Germany.  I graduated from Winchester Community High School in Winchester, IN in 1968.

I had lived in the Brazosport, Texas area for twenty-nine years beginning in 1980.

I enjoyed life but was very lonely for my children and grandchildren in Indiana.  I missed them so much.

I loved to cook for my soulmate but unfortunately I lost him in August of 2008.  I also crocheted a lot.  I loved traveling.  Hawaii was a paradise and of course I loved Las Vegas.  Las Vegas was my favorite gambling get away.

I was a bartender in Brazosport area for over 25 years where I met many good friends and interesting people

I was an auxiliary member of the VFW 8576, Elks Lodge 2200 and a member of the Eagles 3111.  All of the great state of Texas.

I was preceded in death by my husband Marv Boomhower; my parents, Clarence and Doris Franklin; a daughter, Sheri Michele Bousman; and two stepsons, Marvin Jr “Skip” and James Boomhower.

I am survived by three sons and two step sons, Rob (Marie) Bousman, Arlington, IN, Rick (Melissa) Bousman, Bluffton, IN, Ronnie (Traci) Bousman, Centerville, IN, Ed (Mary) Boomhower, Baileys Prairie, TX, and Lance (D) Boomhower, Angleton, TX; daughter-in-law, Sandra Boomhower; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; five brothers, Frank (Rosie Lee) Franklin, Waco, TX; Fred (Michiko) Franklin, Portland, IN; Darrel (Beverly) Franklin, Alvin, TX; Tony (Chelo) Franklin, Marshall, TX; and Wesley (Debbie) Franklin, Alvin TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; special cousin, Sorona Muchowich; brothers and sisters-in-laws; and two special friends, Opal Losack and Evelyn Barrientes, both of Texas

My funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.  Friends and family may call two hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

This beautiful angel 👼 is my aunt Debbie! She was the only aunt I had on the Franklin side of the family by my grandmother Doris franklin and my grandfather Clarence franklin.I have many memories as a child that I will carry forever! Over the years we lost contact because of distance but never did I forget about her! I did have the great joy of having a telephone 📞 conversation with my aunt about a month ago and it was wonderful just wish it could of been longer 💗 I know that one day when God calls me home that I will be reunited with her and the rest of my loved ones who have already entered Heavens gates💕you are now a angel my beautiful Aunt!! No more pain... this isn’t goodbye it’s just till I see you again 💕Rest in sweet Heavenly peace Aunt Debbie and know I love you very much💕‼️Love forever your niece Angie Clarke (Franklin)
