Ronald D. Lennington, 77, of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Wayne HealthCare, in Greenville, Ohio.  He was born March 3, 1940, in Muncie, Indiana, to Ralph and Francis (Harvey) Lennington.

            Ron graduated from White River High School in 1958.  He served in the US Airforce for 20 years. Ron then worked for the Union City Post Office for 20 years.  He and his wife owned and operated Lennington’s Greenhouse.  Ron enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

            Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Goldie (Gastineau) Lennington, of Winchester; two daughters, Peggy Stump of Union City, Indiana, and Teresa (Ron Bowman) Lennington of Union City, Ohio; a son, Ron W. (Margie) Lennington of Alton Missouri; a brother, Larry (Shirley) Lennington of Winchester; two sisters, Marjorie Cline of Union City, IN and Debra Donley; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edith Brinson; and brother, Tom Lennington.

            Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m.,  on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Flint Redwine officiating.  Burial with Military Services will follow at Saratoga Cemetery.

            Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, September 25, as well as an hour before services on Tuesday all at the funeral home.  Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at
