Marcia W. Hudson. 75, went home to the Lord peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 7, 2017. She was born August 30, 1941 in Winchester, IN to Lester and Martha Belle Smith.

She was a shipping clerk at Bell Fiber in Marion, IN for many years and later a Certified Nursing Assistant, which she loved doing. She attended First Friends Church in Marion, IN for many years and later attended New Life in Christ in Frankfort, IN. She loved adult coloring books and spent many hours in the last years of her life coloring religious pictures and sharing them with others.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and last year became a great grandmother to a beautiful little girl, Kendall Marie, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Lewis, Brenda Riggs, her siblings, Marilyn (Lowell) Blansett, Joe (Karen) Smith, Marjorie Imel, Jim Smith, and John Smith, her grandchildren Meghan (Michael) Turner and Miranda (Garrett) DeHaven and her great granddaughter, Kendall DeHaven.

Funeral services for Marcia will be held on Thursday April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, Indiana. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
