Music by The Piano Brothers

William E. Loudy, age 40, of Winchester, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2017.   He was born on November 15, 1976 in Winchester to John and Laura (Moreland) Loudy.

Will was a 1995 graduate of Winchester Community High School and worked at TOA in Winchester. He was a very devoted father and son. He loved spending time with his son, Devin. They were more like best friends than father and son, but that was the way he lived and loved. He will be greatly missed, but is now in peace.  I know he didn’t want to leave you Devin; you are his life. Logan you are his son too and he loves you very, very much.

Will is survived by his sons, Devin Michael Loudy and Logan Ray Melton,  his mother and father, John and Laura (Moreland) Loudy; two brothers, Johnnie Loudy and David Harris; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A special cousin, June Owens and special aunt, Mary Huston of Albany, KY; and the mother of his sons, Chrissy Berry.

He will be met in Heaven by his grandparents, William and Viola Loudy, James and Ruth Moreland and special dear friend, Crystle Brower (Clevenger).  Rest in peace son you will be missed so very much! Love you.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Keith Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Jericho Cemetery east of Winchester.

Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Devin Loudy Cancer Fund in care of Chrissy Berry at Old National Bank, 100 S. Meridian St., Winchester, IN 47394.

Laura and family, I did not know Will, but he was part of your family, so he was part of my family, too. Uncle Taft, Aunt Emmaline, and all the other Meltons and Morelands in heaven are welcoming him to the circle, where there is joy forever. I will keep you in my thoughts and in my heart.

I was blessed to get to know Mr Loudy as Devon and my grandson played on same all-star baseball team several years ago. Devon was the apple of his dad's eye and will really be missed Praying for the family.
