It is with my deepest sympathy for your family, Linda was my best friend, we meet in third grade at Orchard Elementary and were inseparable until she moved to Indiana to live with her father. we kept in touch through the years then lost contact for awhile. then we found each other again and it was one of the happiest times of my life, we were like sisters. you guys were her world and she loved you guys with her whole being. she was such a good person, inside and out, and a little spitfire when she needed to be, I would have done anything for her. I will miss her deeply, I have lost a sister. she will always be here, around you guys always and with me. I love you guys as family.

So sorry to read of the tragic loss of your Linda,
I wish to share comfort from the Bible at this sad time

Jesus well knew the Bible statement:" Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all" [Ecclesiastes 9:11]. He knew that
sometimes bad things just happen.
The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 11:11-44
Revelation 21:3,4 states that death will be no more. and pain
will be no more, the former things will have passed away.
Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to undo the tragedies that touch our lives today.
You can find much Bible-based comfort on

I am so sorry for your loss! I want you to know that our family appreciates beyond words Linda helping Rick. I cannot imagine the pain you're feeling. She must have been a very selfless, loving, special lady. I'd like you to know that if the situation was reversed, Rick would have done the same thing for Linda. Our hearts break for you as ours are broken! You are in my thoughts and prayers! May you find comfort in beautiful memories and a loving God.

Even though time has passed, I'm sure the grief has not. I prayed for Linda at the crash site that dreadful night with John. I had no way to attend the funeral. I just want to let the family know you are not forgotten. Linda sounds like my kind of person! My prayers are with you even now.

I lived next door to Linda. I was trying to google her name to reconnect with childhood friends and sadly came across this obituary. All the Cozart siblings hold a special place in my heart. Love you so much.....Tammy
