Dorothy L. (Tucker) Carden, 94 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester.  She was born on January 18, 1927, in Winchester, to Frank and Myrtle (Sheets) Tucker.

Dorothy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, cooking and gardening.  She also enjoyed spending the winter in Lake Wales, Florida

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Tori (Harold) Brown and Charlotte Ward; two sons, Mike (Carol) Carden and Jeff (Mari Jo) Carden; a brother, Sam Tucker; two sisters, Mary Urick and Dixie (Roland) Hall; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert L. Carden, Sr.; two sons, Douglas Carden and Elbert L. Carden, Jr.; four brothers, Joe Tucker, Jim Tucker John Tucker, and Junior Tucker; and a sister, Wanda Clark.

There will be a private family service with Bob Moorman officiating.  Burial will be at Fountain Park Cemetery.
