Jacqueline Sue (Wynn) Stewart

Jacqueline Sue (Wynn) Stewart, 68, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her home.  She was born on October 16, 1955, in Randolph County, to Grover and Doris (Thompson) Wynn.

Jackie was a 1974 graduate of Winchester Community High School.  She went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Ball State University.  Jackie had been the Director of Nursing for Randolph County Hospital and, most recently, was a nurse for Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the Food Network, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles.  Over the years, her joy was taking care of her patients. 

Jackie is survived by her mother, Doris Wynn, of Winchester; her siblings, Kathy (Zeke) Horner, Doug (Liz) Wynn, and Cindy (Mark) Winkle, all of Winchester; several nieces and nephews, Bridget (Todd) Loyd of Winchester, Kylee (Jeff) Hopkins of Portland, Kaycee (Chris) Brannan of Lafayette, Jordan (Ashton) Winkle of Winchester and Gabe (Jaelyn) Winkle of Winchester: and several great nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Grover Wynn.

A memorial service to celebrate Jackie's life will be at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. 

Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, at the funeral home.  In Lieu of Flowers, memorials in Jackie’s name may be made to Cancer Services of Randolph County, 325 S Oak St. Suite 208, Winchester, IN 47394.
