George A. Cash, 89, of Winchester, Indiana passed away on June 21, 2017 at Reid Hospital and Health Care in Richmond, Indiana.

He was born on June 6, 1928 in Parker City, Indiana to Everett and Esta Mae (Brooks) Cash.

George served in US Army during the Korean War. He retired from OMCO Foundry in Winchester and attended Freedom Life Church in Winchester. He enjoyed boating, fishing, being outdoors, traveling, playing cards, watching game shows, eating out and most of all he liked going to his grandchildren’s ball games and visiting with his family.

Survivors include two daughters Betty Moreland of Winchester, IN and Gladys Heinz of Westfield, IN; one son William Cash and one brother Jay Cash of Quincy, IL; six grandchildren Diane (Shaun) Ashley; Robbie (Tiffany) Moreland; Emily (Adam) Grimes; Angie (Ben) Eberhart; Kelly (Brian) Wurz; Jared (Meredith) Heinz and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Martha (Wade) Cash; four brothers and four sisters and son-in-law Larry Moreland.

A service to celebrate George’s life will be held on Monday June 26, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Freedom Life Church in Winchester with Pastor Jeff Bullard officiating and Military service following at the church.

Friends and family may gather and share memories from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Monday at the church.
