Delilah M. Wilkinson, 83, of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Reid Hospital and Health Care Services in Richmond.  She was born on August 28, 1931 in Winchester to Chester and Mildred (Hinshaw) Brown. 

Delilah graduated from Lynn High School.  She worked at J.C. Murphy’s Dime Store in Winchester, and was a secretary for King Insurance and Mangas Insurance.  She was a member of the Winchester Friends Church and served in the Ladies Aid.  Delilah also served as a volunteer at the St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in the Gift Shop and also at the food pantry.  She enjoyed knitting. 

Delilah is survived by her husband, William A. Wilkinson in Winchester; a daughter, Deborah (Stephen) Holliday of Winchester; two sister-in-laws, Susie Brown and Susie Robinson, both of Winchester and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ivan and Darvin Brown.

The family will have a private burial service.  There will be no calling hours.  Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements.

I am so sorry of your Mom's passing. She was a remarkable lady, everytime I saw her she always so friendly. I remember her when she shopped at Marsh, always asked about my children.
You will always have your memories and have signs that she is still with you. God Bless You,
